The parallel market, without the risks

When a manufacturer sells more cheaply in one region, distributors from other regions buy there. That is the parallel market. The free movement of goods within the European Union protects it and improves your prices, but finding reliable suppliers, meeting labelling rules and getting paid without surprises takes a lot of time.

We are your customer and your supplier

We don't put you in touch with anyone: we buy from you or sell to you ourselves. We invoice, collect, pay and transport, and nobody else knows about your deal.

Nobody puts their money at risk

The goods can always be inspected first. And one rule never changes: nothing is loaded until the supplier has been paid, and nothing is delivered until the customer has paid.

Legal compliance included

Spanish-language labelling, excise duties, packaging levies and trademark rights. We have been sorting this out since 1991, in court too when necessary.

We mainly trade leading soft drink and beer brands in the fastest-moving formats, such as Coca-Cola, Schweppes, Pepsi, Fanta, Aquarius, Estrella Galicia, Damm, Mahou, San Miguel, Heineken, Corona and Budweiser. Also non-perishable food, household and personal care products on request.

How a deal moves

From offer to delivery, in seven stops. The goods can always be inspected, nothing is loaded before payment and nothing is delivered before payment.

A distributor offers us stock. Production or warehouse surplus, in complete confidence.
We offer it to our network. Hundreds of vetted distributors across Europe receive it straight away.
A customer places an order. From a single pallet to a full 33-pallet trailer.
We agree price and terms. The supplier sends us its pro forma invoice and we issue ours to the customer.
The goods are inspected. Their condition can always be checked before going any further.
We pay and load. Nothing is loaded before the supplier has been paid. We ship with our network of hauliers or, if the goods are in a neutral warehouse (usually ours or a logistics warehouse), you can collect them with your own truck.
We get paid and deliver. Nothing is delivered before payment. The customer pays us, not a stranger.

RedParalela.com, the marketplace for wholesalers

In 2003 we created one of Spain's first B2B portals for parallel trade, exclusively for distributors and wholesalers. Today they use it every day to sell stock outside their area and ask for prices on what they need.

Moving drinks since the 1930s

We started out making soda siphons in Sitges. Today we buy and sell leading brands between distributors across Europe, from our premises in Sant Pere de Ribes, between Barcelona and Tarragona.

The family makes soda siphons in Sitges and delivers them around the town.

Carbòniques Montaner is founded, the company from which Red Paralela was born. For decades we distributed to the HORECA channel.

We launch RedParalela.com, one of Spain's first B2B marketplaces for parallel trade.
2023
After nine years of litigation, Spain's Supreme Court rules in our favour against Schweppes.
Today
Now as Red Paralela BCN, we work only with other distributors, with almost zero stock and freshly produced goods.
