We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and Ley Orgánica 3/2018, de Protección de Datos Personales y garantía de los derechos digitales (LOPDGDD, Spanish Data Protection and Digital Rights Act).

2. What data we process and where it comes from

  • Contact form: name, company, email address, telephone number (optional), the department you choose and the content of your message.
  • Email, telephone and WhatsApp: your contact details and the content of the messages you send us through those channels.
  • Browsing: technical data that any web server records (IP address, browser, pages visited and time), solely for the security and proper functioning of the site. Our customers and suppliers are businesses. Please do not send us any special category data (health, beliefs, etc.), as we do not need it.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

  • Responding to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, preparing a quotation: the legal basis is your consent and, where there is a request to buy or sell, the taking of steps prior to entering into a contract.
  • Managing the business relationship with customers and suppliers (orders, transport, invoicing and payment collection): the legal basis is the performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting obligations.
  • Keeping the website secure: the legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the service.

We do not carry out profiling or make automated decisions that have legal effects on you. We do not send commercial communications by email without your prior consent.

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: up to one year from the last contact.
  • Customer and supplier data: for as long as the relationship lasts and, thereafter, for the legally required periods (generally six years for commercial records, plus the applicable tax limitation periods).
  • Technical server logs: a maximum of 90 days.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, unless required by law. To provide the service, we use providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and with GDPR safeguards:

  • Hosting of the website and of the system that routes the contact form to each department: OVHcloud servers in the European Union.
  • Email: an email hosting provider with servers in the European Union.
  • Carriers and logistics providers, where necessary to deliver or collect goods.

If you write to us via WhatsApp, that service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta group) under its own privacy policy, and may involve transfers to the United States covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. Write to us at info@redparalela.eu stating which right you wish to exercise. If we cannot identify you with the data we already hold, we will ask you for a document proving your identity.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, Spanish Data Protection Agency) (www.aepd.es).

7. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: an encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the whole site, restricted access to our systems, and backups.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in our services. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
